I'm sure Thanksgiving is a common theme this week. But I really am thankful for so many things. I fixed dinner for my MWH, brother and sister today. It was pretty laid back. No fancy china, no candles, no linen napkins, no turkey. Yes, you heard me right. No turkey. Both my brother and I have a problem with poultry. He gets severe headaches when he eats it and I get fibromyalgia symptoms in my upper back and shoulders. So we had roast beef.
Here is a list of 13 things I'm most thankful for.
- Always and forever I am most thankful for the blood of Jesus which cleanses me from sin.
- Family is next on the list. I was raised by great parents and I love all my siblings very much. We don't get together often enough.
- My Most Wonderful Husband has earned that title over and over. He takes care of me and spoils me. He's the BEST!
- My daughter is also the greatest. She's married to a terrific guy and has 2 great kids and 2 lovable dogs.
- I'm also thankful for my in-laws. They accepted me and welcomed me to the family almost 17 years ago. I'm truly blessed by family.
- I'm so very grateful that God healed me from some pretty nasty depression last March. Things have only gotten better since then.
- I love America and am thankful for the freedoms that we have.
- My church is very high on my list of things to be thankful for. It's like family to me.
- I have great friends, too. Thanks, guys, for hanging with me thru the tough times in the recent past!
- I'm thankful that MWH has a good job, we have a very nice home, and all our physical needs are taken care of.
- I'm glad I finally came back to quilting at a time when it's popular and there are so many wonderful tools and shortcuts!
- OK, I'll admit it. I'm thankful for my computer and high speed internet connection. Computers have played a huge part in my life. I've been a data entry operator, a computer operator, and a computer programmer.
- I'm thankful for all of you who read my humble attempts at blogging and for your comments that encourage and cheer me.

What a great Thanksgiving TT. I am thankful for much of the same. Thank you for bringing things that I am thankful for to my attention.
Except for the quilting thing, I could have written this. So, I'll just say AMEN!
I am so glad I'm not the only one thankful for my computer! Lol Happy Thanksgiving!
